Lower Key Stage Two
Welcome to Y3/4, where there are three classes, taught by Mrs Booth, Miss Bowers and Miss Crewe and supported by Mrs Barker, Mrs Leech and Mrs Smith. Our first topic, in the Autumn, is Riotous Royalty. You can find our weekly timetable and curriculum overviews below.
We will be looking for children to be reading at home with their parents or carers. Listening to children read will enable them to grow in confidence as they become fluent readers.
We encourage your child to complete as many of the activities from the menu as they like at home, but NO LESS than 3 over the half term. This can be recorded (if appropriate) in our home books. We will ask for homework books on the last Monday of each half term in order for us to share and celebrate the learning.
Below is an example of a typical week in LKS2.
PE days will be on different days for each class and are subject to change week to week, so please ensure that you have your full PE kit and water bottle in school EVERY day.
Friday 11th September (1pm) – Meet the Teacher
Wednesday 16th September, 30th September and 18th November – Art of Brilliance Assembly for children
Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd October (half a day session per class) – Terrible Tudors History Workshop
Friday 13th November – Shakespeare Shine Day!
