At St Giles' and St George's C of E Academy, we are proud of the strong start our children make in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our recent EYFS results show that children are achieving a good level of development from their individual starting points.

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check Data
At St Giles' and St George's C of E Academy, our new phonics scheme supports children to develop early reading skills. Our Year 1 Phonics Screening Check results show that children make good progress in learning to read confidently and accurately and this will continue to improve in the future, as we embed our new scheme.
