At St Giles’ and St George’s we provide lots of opportuntities for family and friends to join our pupils at school. We are a big learning family.

St Giles’ and St George’s Academy places extreme importance on the emotional and mental health of our pupils. We support individuals through in house counselling, mindfullness and wellbeing sessions together with pet therapy provided by our school dog, part of our extended family.

Our school is very fortunate to have extensive school gounds which we can utilise for outdoor learning. We have a woodland walk, pond area, outdoor stage and forest school area together with play areas for young and old.

It is important for our children to learn to love and cherish God’s creation. We have a school garden and eco warriors to ensure that our children learn to love the planet they have inherited.

We welcome children from a variety of backgrounds, countries, disabilities and faiths.

We are a fully inclusive school which sees each child as an individual made in the image and likeness of God.
